“It cannot be overstated the amount of creative vision that Jeff brought to this project. Always encouraging us to stretch to our full potential and challenge ourselves to think outside the box. He embraced our music, working beyond genre classifications to serve each song (and) help us to make this album something truly cohesive and unique. Jeff has a wealth of musical knowledge and he's the leader and a founding member of the San Francisco band The Crooked Jades.”

Kenny Feinstein's debut solo release “Loveless: Hurts to Love” - a cover of My Bloody Valentine’s classic album, “Loveless” made top 20 cover/tribute albums of 2013. Lisa Berman sings on the track included. We love this whole album with producer Jeff Kazor and musicians Erik Pearson and Charlie Rose (of The Crooked Jades), Richard Buckner, and stellar recording engineer and musician Bruce Kaphan.”

"One of the big challenges in keeping true to the album's essence has been inventing an acoustic process that creates the ethereal blanket of swirling distortion behind those beautiful vocals and poppy melodies" - Jeff Kazor, the producer of the new record “Loveless: Hurts to Love” for Water Tower front man, Kenny Feinstein - Featuring performances by alt-country guru Richard Buckner and several of The Crooked Jades including Lisa Berman singing harmonies and playing slide, Erik Pearson on dobro, guitars and flutes and Charlie Rose on bass. This ambitious project is a totally acoustic reconstruction of My Bloody Valentine's seminal "Loveless" album from 1991 with hardly any digital processing.”

"I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Jeff Kazor for many years, spanning a variety of music projects. As I see it, the successful music producer must be able to conjure a unique vision for each project, communicate that vision to the artists and technicians involved (aka herding cats), and ultimately craft the performances, and the thousands of decisions and details into a whole that is greater than the sum of parts—making music that means something to anyone receptive who listens to it. Jeff is a deep thinker and deep listener. The depth of Jeff's thought and listening results in careful attention paid to the most important, most elemental aspects of the focus of the project at hand, while also minding the artist’s overall trajectory—no mean feat! Album production can be an intense experience—long hours, lots of money pressure, all the while, trying to find truth, meaning, and maybe even a little beauty in an ever-increasingly distracting/distracted world. My experiences with Jeff have repeatedly shown him to be thoughtful, considerate, and most importantly kind-hearted—I treasure my relationship with him, am grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to work together in the past, and look forward to more in the future.”
